It's a bit messy, but it was folded on a very large piece of paper, and the only sheet I could find of the right size was high-gsm Canson. The next time I fold this, I'll use Craft paper, so I'm hoping it will look slightly neater.
It was folded using a 24x48 grid as the starting point. I then created a high-density packing model, folding the centre first and moving outwards to produce each additional level. Once that was done, I used the standard outside-in method to fold the inner petals of each hydrangea.
